Assalamualaikum and greetings to all visitors! If you wish to extend your corner lot house in Shah Alam, the video above shows the house extension limits allowed by MBSA for the front, side and rear extension.
The building setbacks for a corner-lot terrace house extension are as follows; -
1. Front extension ;
- Leave 20' distance between the new wall to existing fence when making additional room or living area
- Leave 10' distance between the new pillar to existing fence when building a new porch
2. Side extension ;
- Leave 20' distance between the new wall to the edge of existing fence for additional living / dining / kitchen / room
- Leave 10' distance from new column to existing fence to build a new patio or terrace
3. Rear extension ;
The rear extension can be added up to the fence on the condition that the wall does not exceed the fence and the drainage from rainwater are built from concrete gutter not exceeding the rear fence.
